We started bright and early in Canary Wharf, where 50 crew were eagerly awaiting breakfast at East Wintergarden. At 7am they had already been up and about for 5 hours, building the set for the day’s VIP event. They had a long day ahead of them, so we got them fuelled up and raring to go!
Over at Tower Hill, a breakfast meeting for some very special clients was due to start at Trinity House. Tucked away in the calm surroundings of one of the most charming spaces in London, our guests enjoyed a breakfast meeting followed by a delightful finger buffet lunch. It’s always good to see our friends in the Trinity House team, and even better when they’re working with some of our most loyal clients.
Straight from this event we headed across to Museum of London, where we were preparing a bowl food reception for 250, for another of our repeat clients and their giant zebra mascot! They enjoyed a range of tempting dishes including hot smoked salmon with pea puree and a lobster oil and lemon dressing, homemade pumpkin ravioli with sage butter and toasted pine nuts, as well as a range of canapés and our office’s favourite banoffee pie!
Back at East Wintergarden, things were revving up for a very special launch. 600 VIP guests arrived for the unveiling of Jaguar’s newest car, the F Type Coupe. Our team had done a simply stunning job, setting up sleek poseur tables, a branded bar and interactive stations around the venue. The glass atrium was the perfect backdrop for this 5* event. Our smiling service staff offered canapés such as mini steak & triple cooked chip with sauce béarnaise, salt and pepper squid rings with chilli, and crayfish, avocado and cucumber rice paper rolls, all served alongside Pol Roger Champagne.
On the VIP Mezzanine Chelsea Football Club Manager Jose Mourinho, the new Jaguar UK ambassador, was joined by other British celebrities such as Gary Lineker, Example and Anthony Joshua to see the F Type in the flesh. The big reveal was nothing short of magical as the vehicle appeared in a glass box which changed from opaque to transparent, to rapturous applause from the crowd.
Over at Guildhall, the team were setting up for a spectacular dinner for 450 guests. Our team of chefs were hard at work preparing a celebration dinner of beetroot three ways, fillet of 21-day aged beef with smoked and braised shin, dauphinoise potatoes and a red wine jus, followed by and elderflower jelly, with strawberry meringue and Pedro Ximenez-macerated strawberries. Our clients, the Worshipful Company of Needlemakers, were delighted:
We’re so glad you were pleased with the evidence!
And that was that. Our busy day was over and done with, and we had Valentine’s Day to look forward to! It was certainly a lovely surprise the next morning to find roses on all of our sales team’s desks. What a treat!
