Cosmopolitan and Advertising Week at Kensington Palace

When we heard that Advertising Week, the world's premier gathering of marketing and communications leaders, was coming over to London for its first ever European gathering, we couldn't wait to see how we could get involved! It is a collection of inspiring thought leaders featuring some of the world's best and brightest talents in the advertising world. The event spans 20 countries over four days and features 250 lecturers at 100 events.
As part of the week’s festivities, Cosmopolitan hosted an invitation only celebration to honour female industry icons at Kensington Palace Orangery, and Ampersand Events were there to provide show stopping catering and ensure the evening went without a hitch, bringing in our friends at Lavender Green to provide floristry befitting of the opulent surroundings.



Ampersand’s high fashion menu included: seared Tuna skewered on chop sticks, char sui pork on sweet corn frittatas, pan fried scallops with green tomato and vanilla fondue, and lemongrass and lime leaf panna cotta with mango. Meanwhile, the pink champagne flowed, as of course did the cosmos, and we even provided a cocktail bar, mixing bespoke drinks on request.


Cosmopolitan is an iconic brand that has helped define the magazine industry, and our menu was designed to honour the place that it plays in our lives.

The venue was transformed; while it maintained its classic beauty, it was given a modern lift with bright pink lighting effects and Cosmopolitan branding and we added a big and beautiful centrepiece that drew the eye, yet fitted seamlessly into the room.

As their glamorous guests departed, we were sad to see some of our friendliest clients fly home to New York, but with a meeting already scheduled to discuss Advertising Week 2014, we’re hopeful that this is the start of a long standing partnership.
