Meet Three New Faces of Ampersand Events

Ampersand Events has recruited three new senior personnel to ensure we’re ready for big things in 2015. The three roles will help us to make the client journey smooth and perfect, from initial booking to event pre-planning, encompassing food preparation, and finally delivery of the event occasion itself.

Jamie Cairns is our new Executive Chef; Toks Akande (who you may recognise from last month’s 60 Seconds With…) joins as Head of Operations and Logistics; while Emma Moore becomes Client Relationship Manager. All three have demonstrated success at the highest level, and their appointments bolster the structure of Ampersand Events, allowing us to maintain our faultless standards without experiencing growing pains as our business continues to mature.

Jamie joins from the private aviation specialist Alison Price on Air - where he led a team of eleven chefs. Previously he was Head Chef at St Paul’s Cathedral Restaurant & Café, and before that was Head Chef for Rhubarb’s Bar & Restaurant at Heathrow’s Terminal 3.

Toks previously worked at several well-known caterers including Rhubarb and Create Food & Party Design where she was the Bespoke Operations Team Manager.

Emma joins from ETC Venues: where she worked across London for large corporate and charity clients. Before that she was at the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organizations.

We are building a dream team and scaling up as we continue to grow. These three valuable new members unite to deliver a seamless service for our clients. As the baton passes from Emma, to Jamie and finally on to Toks, you can be assured that your event is in the hand of experts and will run like clockwork.

We have more good news to come soon too. So watch this space.
