After countless meetings, a tasting, and a rehearsal, the day finally arrived, and the team at the office was almost as excited as the wedding party!
Following an emotional ceremony, guests filtered out onto the terrace of the Orangery, greeted by a glass of champagne while a steel band played wedding bells. Afternoon tea and those all-important wedding photos filled a few hours, giving Ampersand Events a chance to transform the Orangery into a vision in rouge.
The bride ensured no detail was left untouched, with table signs and place cards featuring her favourite artwork - a perfect complement to the fabulous red brocade linen we had chosen. Tall centrepieces in eye popping pink and red added warmth to the Orangery, as guests sat down to a wedding breakfast of Dorset crab, avocado and basil sorbet, followed by Cornish lamb rack, cauliflower puree and summer vegetables. A delicious tart tatin, cinnamon ice cream and toffee sauce rounded off an exquisite meal in the perfect setting.
Ampersand relish opportunities to give our clients that little bit extra and those special touches you will remember; so we squirreled away the knowledge that the couple’s son is a huge fan of both sticky toffee pudding and banoffee pie then treated him to both on the day of the wedding. You can just imagine his look of surprise, and the delight on his face made the extra effort more than worth it!
It was truly spectacular day at the palace, with a blissfully happy couple and unforgettable memories for the Ampersand team.
