Goldsmiths’ Centre opens for business

Ampersand offers glittering corporate hospitality packages at modern new venue built by 700 year-old Livery Company
An exciting new venue for conferences, dining, and corporate entertaining is now shining in London. The Goldsmiths’ Centre is a new purpose-built venue created from a restored Grade II listed Victorian Board School building, and containing contemporary materials such as York Stone and brass.

It is the work of The Goldsmiths’ Company, which has spent £17.5m over six years to create the Centre and which includes 24 work spaces for established businesses and entrants to the jewellery, silversmith and allied trades.

It is also a perfect setting for conferences, seminars & presentations, as well as formal dinners, receptions & product launches. It has a café, two rooms on the 4th floor, with high ceilings and a bio-diversity roof garden on the top floor that provides a panoramic view over the city.

Not only is the building packed with sustainable technology, with solar panels and heat source pumps, but by using the venue visitors will be directly supporting young people to enter skilled employment through the vocational training offered at The Goldsmiths’ Centre.
