Ampersand’s Natalie Mainwaring listed in Prestigious Event 100 Club

Our very own Natalie Mainwaring, Head of Sales and Operations for Ampersand Events, has been listed in the prestigious Event Magazine Top 100 Club. Inclusion on the list, which ranks the most influential people in the world of UK events management, is a truly well-deserved recognition of Natalie’s outstanding talent and commitment to the events industry.
Those listed in this exclusive club are considered to be the top players in the events industry. Shortlisted by Event Magazine, the final list is then voted for by readers based on a detailed review of their highlights and achievements within the events arena, the number and type of events they’ve organised, revenue generated, contributions to the industry and accolades won.

At the age of 30 Natalie is one of the youngest on this year’s list, and is in great company; the number one spot went to Danny Boyle following his creation of the London Olympics opening ceremony. Achieving a well-earned spot at number 89, Natalie impressed judges with her overwhelming passion and commitment to the events industry. It is this passion and commitment that has led her and her team to organise more than 250 events a year and increase business by 150% in 2012.

"I’m honoured, thrilled and humbled"

Entry onto this prestigious list follows Natalie’s Acorn win in 2011, which highlighted her as one of the rising stars in the hospitality industry. She has continued to grow in the world of events since this and has produced some true shining moments including working with Disney - events which have presented challenging logistics such as fashioning a range of cute Minnie Mouse canapés.

“I’m honoured, thrilled and humbled,” said Natalie. “Ampersand Events has made great progress over the past year, and I regard this as an award that recognises everyone who has contributed to that success. Now it’s a case of onwards and upwards to the next challenge. I’m sure 2013 will be a fantastic year.”

Since taking over the helm at Ampersand Events, Natalie and her team have built up a fantastic reputation, delivering inspiring events for high profile clients such as Royal College of Art and Waitrose and winning listings at prestigious venues such as the Natural History Museum, the Cutty Sark, and the Science Museum.

We are all tremendously proud of Natalie and all that she has achieved at such a young age, and we have no doubt that she will continue to take Ampersand Events from strength to strength.

Congratulations Natalie!
